On July 23, Danang Civil and Industrial Construction Project Management Unit (CPM) and construction contractor Vinaconex 25 – DCID – Thai Son – 319 – Lien Viet Tien held a topping -out ceremony topped off the ICT building of the Software Park No. 2 project (phase 1). The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh and representatives of the Management Board, Design Consultants, Supervision Consultants, Consortium of Contractors also attended the ceremony.

The Software Park Project No. 2 was started the construction on October 10, 2020, with land area of 28,573 m2, in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district. According to the CPM Unit’s report, the Software Park No. 2 will be completed on August 31, 2022. The project consists of a 20-storey ICT office building with a total floor area of 26,267 m2; 8-floor office building ICT1 with a total floor area of 39,297 m2; ICT2 8-storey office building with a total construction floor area of 27,220 m2, including yards, internal roads, green landscape and lawns, a synchronous technical infrastructure system for traffic, drainage, electricity and lighting.
During the implementation process, the construction contractors made great effort to ensure the completion of the 20-storey ICT office building on schedule. Currently, the Contractor completed the ICT building’ beams and attic floors and continue to carry out the construction of beams and roof decks; MEPF system, completing from 1st to 7th floor; Install glass walls from 3rd to 8th floor.

According to the Project Management Unit, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and fluctuations in material prices, the Contractor faced to many difficulties in mobilizing manpower resources and ensuring the supply of materials. However, thanks to the City Leaders’s timely and close advisory and the Contractors’ efforts, Vinaconex 25 has ensured the completion schedule of the body compared to the plan of the ICT building project.
In the coming time, the Management Unit, the Engineers and the Consortium of Contractors will continue to implement the “dual” goal: both to ensure the prevention of covid-19 pandemic and the completion the Software Park No. 2 on schedule. Since then, contributing to creating a new driving force for the city’s socio-economic development, developing the information technology, electronics and telecommunications industry in association with the digital economy according to Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Ministry of Politics.
