At Vinaconex 25, one of the most important contents of HSE work is the safety for employees. During the construction process at sites, occupational accidents may happen at any time from many different ways, mainly due to the subjective and unsafe behavior of employees as well as the unsafe factors of the working places. The training’s purpose is to ensure that all Engineers and Workers will strictly follow the HSE regulations at sites and it is therefore very necessary, the same as the fact that the construction work cannot be without the reinforced concrete.
At each Project, the TBM (Tool Box Meeting) – the hazard identification activities before working, are regularly held every Monday morning to train Labors with necessary knowledge, notes as well as ways to deal with risks, thereby proactively taking measures to prevent risks for themselves and improve the quality of work.

On last June 8, 2023, at the Coastal Road Improvement Project – 129 Vo Chi Cong Street, We invited experienced experts and held a training course of occupational safety to train the Engineers and Workers to proactively identify potential hazards and take measures to prevent occupational accidents during the working time at construction site.

Many potential hazards may incidentally occur at working places such as falling screws, sharp metal objects, concrete debris, etc. Therefore, Green Saturday activities at construction site are carried out regularly every Saturday. The cleaning inside and outside the projects is firstly for a safe working environment, protect the employee’s health and create a professional working places to facilitate to minimize costs for human and machine incidents and increase the labor productivity and work effect.

At the same time, the Company also focused on implementing many measures to ensure health for labors such as arranging the proper working time, equipping more protective equipments and anti-heat clothings, providing the purified water supply, supplementing food and drinking water, especially mineral baked drinking water and lemon juices during hot summer days …. Furthermore, in order to reduce the negative impact of bad weather on employees due to the influence of the El Nino phenomenon, the average temperature is higher than in previous years, especially the intense hot weather from June of this year.

In addition, Vinaconex 25 often co-operates with Local Policement to organize many fire prevention and fighting rehearsals to make the proactive Fire Protection actions on construction sites and this has always been one of Vinaconex 25’s great attentions.

Along with such-above activities, all employees also participate in the “5S Actions” to build a convenient, scientific and safe working environment so as to improve the labor productivity. And the “Working Beauty” contest in the second quarter with the theme “Your Safety, Our Happiness” organized by the Company is a respond to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health.
